After a conversation with Teddy, Michelle comes to the realization that she has never experienced having a mother. Determined to fill that void, she sets out to find a partner for Danny, convinced that her teacher, Miss Wiltrout, would be the perfect match. Meanwhile, Jesse receives feedback from a record label that his band, Jesse and the Rippers, has a too-soft image. In response, he and Joey brainstorm ways to create a tougher persona for the group. Additionally, D.J. is working on a school essay titled "What It's Like to Be Someone Else," leading her to temporarily swap lives with Kimmy.
