After D.J. and Steve's split, as well as Danny and Vicky's breakup, both D.J. and Danny find themselves re-entering the dating scene. Stephanie sets D.J. up on a blind date, while Danny takes Becky's advice to go out with a TV camera operator named Bernadette. However, things get awkward when both pairs end up at the same restaurant, leading D.J.'s and Danny's dates to leave together. D.J. hits it off with a charming waiter, and Danny’s good deed for an elderly woman in the restaurant turns out to be rewarding. Meanwhile, Jesse is gearing up Nicky and Alex for Mother's Day, but the twins start their celebrations a day early.
