Tee Watt Kaa, the leader of the Lurmen, declines to provide refuge for the Jedi, worried that doing so would draw his peaceful people into the conflict. Ahsoka, Aayla, the injured Anakin, and the clones understand and respect the villagers' stance, opting to retreat into the wilderness instead. Meanwhile, the Separatist Neimoidian General Lok Durd arrives, eager to test a destructive weapon intended for the Lurmen. The villagers must ultimately choose between surrendering to the Separatists or joining forces with the Jedi to protect their home.
