To secure the release of the imprisoned crime lord Ziro the Hutt, a group of bounty hunters takes over the Senate Building and holds several senators captive. Cad Bane, who leads the operation alongside fellow bounty hunter Aurra Sing, presents his demands to Chancellor Palpatine, leaving the Chancellor with little option but to comply. Meanwhile, the bounty hunters remain unaware that Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker is navigating the Senate Building, ready to intervene.
