Confronted with avoidable tragedies, investigators meticulously sift through the debris of three separate midair crashes in a desperate bid to avert future disasters. In California, a large passenger aircraft collides with a high-speed fighter jet. Seven years later, another fatal incident occurs, leaving both investigators baffled and San Diego reeling.
