As Will departs his apartment, he entrusts Claude with its care, encouraging her to invite anyone she pleases. She swiftly arranges an intimate gathering with her closest pals, notably excluding Kipp, who had appropriated her story idea. Meanwhile, Lydia becomes fixated on retrieving a crystal gazelle she gifted Will, leading her to spend the evening attempting to rescue it from the fish tank. Unexpectedly, Kipp shows up and stumbles upon the fact that Will has his mother's phone number saved on speed dial. To everyone's surprise, Will and Kipp's mom have been involved romantically, creating an awkward situation that Claude must navigate.
