Granny is hard at work concocting her moonshine while Jethro tries out his new frogman suit in the cement pond. When Granny strolls by, she mistakes Jethro for a sea monster. Later, Jethro sets off an explosive charge in the pond, sending himself flying out of the water. Mr. Drysdale gifts Jethro some 'Money Man' comics, sparking his desire to meet the Moon Maidens. Jed confides in Mr. Drysdale about Jethro's antics, and he suggests the Army Reserve. Undeterred, Jethro rigs a rocket to his back, using Granny's moonshine as fuel, and launches himself into the sky, only to land in the ocean and get rescued by the Coast Guard.
