Meanwhile, Danny's chef, Alfredo, seeks a low-cost doctor for a hernia surgery, which should be straightforward, but tragically, he dies during the procedure. As Quincy digs deeper, he uncovers a link between the two deaths. Meanwhile, Asten, frustrated by Quincy's frequent absences, gives him a pager, allowing him to reach Quincy at any time, much to Quincy's irritation.
