Quincy and Danny visit the racetrack, where they witness a horse going berserk in the stables. Tragically, the chaos results in the death of a jockey. However, after conducting an autopsy, Quincy suspects foul play rather than a mere accident, believing someone murdered the jockey and staged the scene to implicate the horse. The challenge for Quincy lies in gathering evidence to support his theory, and even the unconventional decision to perform an autopsy on the horse, along with acquiring hoof samples, doesn't make progress easy. Meanwhile, Asten is frustrated by the expenses involved in pursuing the truth.
