Col. Taylor is honored as the special guest at a campus roast, but he grows uneasy when Frank Benning, a comrade from his Vietnam platoon, appears as the surprise speaker. Haunted by guilt over a battlefield decision he believes cost Frank his leg, Col. Taylor braces for the worst. However, Frank recounts a different story, praising Col. Taylor as a courageous leader who saved their lives. Meanwhile, Ron juggles dinner preparations while anxiously anticipating the announcement of the ROTC's Cadet of the Year. Dwayne wagers Whitley that she can’t resist flirting for an entire day.
