Battle of the Mountain Castle (S01E09)

Teruhi urges her followers to rally behind the Toibarai as they face overwhelming odds defending Kanatanoki. They focus their strength on the heavily fortified South Gate, while Shiraishi volunteers to guard the rear at the west wall. Mongol Commander Choukuru rushes to initiate the assault but falls into a trap set by Jinzaburou and a small Toibarai contingent. Although Choukuru's forces are initially drawn to the South Gate, they are repelled by seasoned defenders. Commander Funbishi arrives to distract the defenders while Commander Ochirubato maneuvers to the west. Shiraishi redirects troops from the North to the South Gate, allowing the Mongols to breach the wall.
