Economic Imperative (S03E04)

The case involving Diana Hulsey, a single mother battling terminal brain cancer and suing a telecommunications company, comes to a close in Deed's courtroom. The Establishment fears a ruling in Diana's favor, prompting Ian Rochester to try and undermine the judge before the verdict is announced. He colludes with the phone company to falsely accuse Deed of having child pornography, leaving Deed to navigate a troubling situation when he discovers it on his laptop. Meanwhile, Jo grapples with a difficult request from Diana, who asks her to care for her seven-year-old son after she passes, which could happen at any moment.
