Kuzak is devastated when his oversight in legal discovery prevents a widowed client from securing a settlement against a hospital responsible for his wife's inadequate care. McKenzie steps in to assist a grieving widow in reclaiming her husband's remains after his body is mistakenly used for research. Melman and Meyer seek guidance from a marriage counselor, and as Kuzak and Van Owen leave a restaurant, they unexpectedly encounter Ringstrom and his spouse.
