Excitedly, she suggests to Addy that they could all relocate to Africa if she accepts his offer. However, when he reveals that his mother desires him to marry a woman who is pure and has never been intimate, Nell ultimately decides to turn him down. Despite her decision, she feels frustrated for returning the lavish necklace he gave her.
