Finch plays a trick on Elliott by swapping the tags on two birthday presents: one from Maya and another from Persky. Consequently, Elliott thinks he’s received an exciting gaming console from Persky, while Maya’s gift appears to be a set of risqué toys. When Maya invites him over later that evening, he misinterprets her intentions, prompting him to reflect on his feelings for her. Meanwhile, Jack's racehorse, purchased with Robert Goulet, becomes unruly before the important race, leading him to seek Nina's help in settling the nervous animal.
