While at Alexis' office, Dex stumbles upon a secret file labeled "Tar Sand" and snatches the contract before she can react. He later proposes a split of 60-40 in his favor. Meanwhile, a furious Jeff confronts Adam at the top of the Carrington Plaza. Their confrontation escalates into a brutal exchange of insults and punches, causing Adam to nearly fall off the ledge. Just as Jeff prepares to deliver a final blow, Adam desperately reveals he was unaware he was the father of Kirby's child, prompting Jeff to let him pull himself back up. Jeff then catches Kirby just as she's about to leave for Paris. In a romantic turn, Blake asks Krystle to marry him, and she joyfully accepts.
