Meanwhile, Kirby delves into the circumstances surrounding her father's death and, after reading his suicide note, decides to buy a handgun. Fallon suffers a seizure, and Dex shares a passionate moment with Tracy. When a mysterious caller reaches out again, Krystle answers and realizes she's listening to a recording of Matthew's voice. Matthew's mother, who had harbored resentment towards Claudia, sold the tape to an unknown buyer. Blake confronts Morgan Hess and notices the tape near the phone. Hess claims he planned to frame Alexis, but Blake remains skeptical of his explanation.
