During Fallon's funeral, Jeff causes a disturbance. Meanwhile, in Los Angeles, Steven encounters Sammy Jo, who insists on a monthly payment of $30,000 for the safe return of Danny. After Claudia warns Adam that his actions are pushing him away from the family, he decides to take charge. Adam sneaks into Sammy Jo's motel room and successfully retrieves young Danny.
