Reed is set to leave for Mexico after completing one final big drug deal. However, Jo unexpectedly knocks him overboard with a harpoon, leading to a crisis when the boat runs out of fuel. When Reed manages to board again and threatens her with a gun, Jo is left with no choice but to shoot him in self-defense. Following the incident, she gets arrested when the Coast Guard arrives. Meanwhile, Alison initially buys Billy's explanation about his date, but breaks things off once more after he mistakenly assumes she’s moving to New York. He chases her back to Los Angeles, where he surprises her with a marriage proposal. Meanwhile, Sydney lays out her blackmail terms and decides to move in with Michael.
