Consumed by guilt after her kiss with Alex, Jane retreats to a hotel, plagued by doubts about remarrying Michael. In the midst of a panic attack, she collapses. Meanwhile, Amanda visits the church to inform a devastated Michael that the wedding is canceled. However, Jane ultimately decides she wants to go through with the marriage. Although Michael initially shuts her out, Peter surprises him with a ceremony at the hospital. Hearing Jane’s vows sways Michael to agree to marry her. At the reception, Alex misleads Michael into thinking he slept with Jane, leading to a drunken confrontation where Michael accuses her of cheating. Seeking solace at Alex’s place, Jane learns he had faked a work crisis to get closer to her. Amidst the chaos, Megan catches Ryan and Lexi in a bathroom and, heartbroken, tries to drown her sorrows with alcohol, finding unexpected comfort with Michael.
