Nat learns about the incident and encourages Sean to persist in seeking the truth from Alice. Despite his threats of blackmail, she remains unyielding. Meanwhile, Tess's regular client, Turnball, returns, drawing her into his family troubles. Tess finds herself repeating past mistakes, investing too much into a hopeless situation.
