Naruto and his clones are diligently practicing chakra nature manipulation by attempting to slice leaves. After facing some challenges, Naruto seeks guidance from Asuma, who shares some valuable tips with one of Naruto's clones. Thanks to this advice, Naruto successfully manages to slice a leaf cleanly in half. Following their training, Asuma and Yamato set off with their respective teams on new missions. It's revealed that Asuma is the son of the Third Hokage and is romantically involved with Kurenai. Meanwhile, on a hill overlooking a charred village, four cloaked figures discuss their plans to awaken the Fire Country by destroying the Leaf Village.
