In an effort to secure a promising new client named Christian, Michael and Jan invite him to Chili's, where Michael's unexpected actions leave everyone stunned. Meanwhile, at the office, Jim stumbles upon a script penned by Michael titled Threat Level: Midnight. He, Pam, Kevin, and the rest of the Dunder-Mifflin team dive into a hilarious reenactment of the script. Later that evening, Pam and Jim embark on their first unofficial date, enjoying a simple dinner (a sandwich), romantic candlelight, and Dwight's underwhelming fireworks show.
