Title: Caroline and the Singer Plot: Donna, Annie's sister, arrives in town to reignite her singing career and stumbles upon a secret love letter from Richard to Caroline hidden in Annie’s diary. Inspired, she crafts a new song, much to Richard’s dismay and Annie’s outrage, as she has been leveraging the letter to coerce Richard into taking their mother to electrolysis sessions. Meanwhile, Caroline is fixated on her favorite black pumps, left behind at Joe's place. After failing to find a replacement, she sneaks in to retrieve them and is caught by a remorseful Joe. Meanwhile, Del and Charlie find themselves stranded in Del's Porsche, having accidentally locked the keys and phone in the trunk.
