Andrew expresses his dread of becoming too forgetful to communicate, leading his sons to place him in a nursing home. Roc admits his fear of dying before he can provide Eleanor with the loving home and family he envisions. In a private moment with Roc, Eleanor opens up about her suppressed memory of being molested as a child by a neighbor who looked after her during her parents' absence.
