Romans (S02E01)

Tony transports us back almost 2000 years to the era when Britain was part of the Roman Empire. He narrates the tale of an African Roman soldier assigned to the northernmost frontier at Hadrian's Wall. This young recruit dedicates his days to constructing roads, some of which remain in use today. However, his fortunes take a turn, not on the battlefield, but during an unexpected encounter with the Roman Emperor, when he attempts to pull off a practical joke that goes awry.
