Middle Ages (S02E04)

Tony transports us to the Middle Ages, a period filled with valiant knights, powerful kings, and extravagant attire—if you had the means to wear it. His initial meeting is with a rather unsettling figure, one you'd prefer to avoid at any hour. Richard Rakiere serves a crucial yet grim role as a ‘Gong Farmer’ or Nightman, laboring through the night to clear out cesspits. Richard's story comes to light because of his peculiar demise in 1326, when he tragically fell into his own cesspit and drowned.
