Amanda, a former ally of Alexander, devises a plan to sabotage a crucial conference aimed at banning the production of chemicals that could be used for creating weapons. To do this, she intends to place an impostor in Alexander's place. Additionally, she is linked to the assassination of George, a Greek legislator who passionately supports this agreement. Unbeknownst to the assassin and his accomplices, a young gypsy witnessed the murder and has sneaked aboard a freighter headed to New York, where the conference is being held. Alexander instructs his team to locate this witness and ensure he is safely returned to Greece, where a trusted friend will protect him during questioning by local authorities.
