The aide also provides him with vital intel that could help dismantle the junta if he can present it to the United Nations Committee on Latin American Affairs, meeting the day before the election. With global media attention on the event, an urgent call from a Cardinal in the Vatican reaches Alexander, asking him to ensure Father Vera's safety in Boston as he prepares to address the UN and evade a death squad dispatched by the President.
