The Big No-Substitutions Please Episode (S02E05)

After Dee Dee loses her cherished room to the new baby, she starts feeling anxious that the infant is pushing her out of her parents' lives. Overwhelmed by stress, she experiences a breakdown and begins to hear a doll speaking to her. Mona suggests Dee Dee visit Phyllis to talk through her feelings. Dee Dee confides that she feels isolated in her worries about how the baby's arrival will alter her life. Phyllis reassures her that her feelings are completely normal and encourages her to share her concerns with Big Dee Dee. Before Dee Dee can do that, Big Dee Dee reveals her own fears about the upcoming birth and expresses gratitude for Dee Dee's support, easing Dee Dee’s worries about her place in her mother’s life. Meanwhile, Spencer frequently cancels plans with Mona due to time spent with Camille, leaving her to seek Adam's company, though he isn't particularly excited about it.
