Phyllis reveals she has been dating someone for the last month and hesitantly agrees to introduce her boyfriend, Earl, to the group. Charming, kind, and romantic, Earl quickly wins over everyone, including Big Dee Dee. However, Dee Dee spots Earl dining with another woman and uncovers that she is actually his wife. When Dee Dee and Mona attempt to inform Phyllis, they are shocked to find out she was already aware of Earl's marital status. She insists he is separated and heading for divorce. They urge her to end the relationship. Meanwhile, Spencer finds that being in a relationship has unexpectedly made him a magnet for attention from other women.
