Following a spring bear hunt at his cabin on Prince of Wales Island in Alaska, Steven Rinella embarks on an adventure to gather seafood from the surrounding waters, armed with traps and a fishing rod. He successfully catches Dungeness crabs, spot prawns, and rockfish, and takes a moment to dig for clams along the shore. Before heading home, Steve shares his techniques for cleaning and preparing the seafood for freezing and storage. Once in the kitchen, he whips up a variety of dishes—some traditional and others with a twist—that highlight the unique taste of wild-caught seafood.
