Dharma and Greg's Valentine's Day escape quickly spirals into chaos. Their adventure begins when Greg stumbles upon a travel brochure for the Red Rose Inn, promising a romantic retreat in a snowy paradise. However, the trip takes a turn when they receive a speeding ticket after Greg rushes to compensate for the time lost while Dharma insists on burying a dead animal they came across. Upon arriving, they are disheartened to find the inn is merely a quaint house devoid of snow, with guests housed in a shabby trailer. Meanwhile, Kitty misinterprets a conversation with Larry about an animal-shelter swap meet as a discussion about swapping wives, leading to unsettling feelings for her and Edward.
