After the cab company shuts down, the gang is compelled to find new jobs. A month later, they gather at Mario’s to share their experiences. Tony has become a collector for a bookie, but he struggles with guilt, especially when tasked with collecting from a priest. Elaine is now an executive assistant, but after she pushes her timid boss to voice his thoughts at a board meeting, they both end up getting fired. Meanwhile, Jim takes on door-to-door sales, but mistakenly thinks he’s selling rug shampooers instead of encyclopedias, leading to a disaster on a woman’s carpet. This is the first part of a two-part episode.
