Ally assists a minister who lost his position after struggling with his faith following the violent murder of his wife. He seeks her help to speak with his son, Malcolm, who Ally is surprised to see again. She encourages Malcolm to perform at his father’s reinstatement service. Meanwhile, John finds himself representing a client against a mayor who canceled the town's Christmas parade in the wake of a tragic disaster. Deeply affected, John argues that the community needs the spirit of Christmas now more than ever. Back at the office, Jenny and Elaine confront one another regarding Elaine's behavior with Glenn at the Christmas party.
