Maelstrom (S02E21)

Chase has a tense encounter with Sheriff Robbins, who rushes out of the county building with the forensic report on Henri Denault in hand, eager to question Richard Channing. Chase reveals he has proof that Carlo Agretti was blackmailing Richard. Meanwhile, Richard is busy dictating Denault's obituary to Diana when Chase and Robbins arrive at his home. Robbins mentions signs of a struggle found on Denault's body and requests to inspect Richard's clothing from that day. Richard defiantly demands search warrants before slamming the door. Later, Richard decides to share details about Tony Cumson with Lance, who informs Melissa that Tony is consulting for an oil company in San Diego. He warns Melissa that if Julia goes to San Diego, she may never return to Falcon Crest.
