Upon regaining consciousness, a nurse reveals that Lucas has been arrested for aiding a fugitive and then switches on the TV, broadcasting Julia Cumson's own arrest. Shocked, Julia learns that Angela uncovered her phone conversations with Emma, leading to her current predicament. In a frenzy, Julia questions, “How could you betray me?” unaware that Reibmann is observing her distress from a two-way mirror, orchestrating the entire situation. Meanwhile, Angela grapples with her own crises as both Francesca and their agreement vanish, while Chase submits evidence to the U.S. Attorney, seeking charges against her for libel and perjury, further complicating matters. Melissa seizes the opportunity to advance her own agenda.
