Meanwhile, Lorraine insists that Lance retract an article linking Richard Channing to the criminal underworld, but he seems more focused on his romantic pursuits than on journalism. Richard and Gustav vie for Francesca's attention to gain access to her Falcon Crest shares, while Angela and Greg convince her to sign a contract for the vineyards. Additionally, Private Investigator Mike Harris reveals to Maggie that her biological father died in World War II, and Melissa tells Greg she must end their relationship to protect her bond with Cole, though Greg continues to chase her.
