Acid Tests (S04E17)
After years of dedication, Chase and Cole are forced to dispose of vast amounts of contaminated champagne while Richard and Angela watch. Suspicion falls on one of them as Chase believes they may be behind the poisoning. Meanwhile, Richard's fixation on ruining Lance leads Maggie to resign from her job at the radio station. Disturbed by her mother's sudden disappearance, Maggie travels to Los Angeles for answers. During a meeting with his stepfather, Alexander Nicolau, Chase uncovers his mother's risky ties to the cartel and seeks to understand Riebmann's keen interest in Tuscany Valley. Back in town, the courthouse is packed with reporters for Lance's preliminary hearing, and Richard revels in Judge Holder's decision to proceed with the attempted murder trial against Lance.
