Bailey, having spent all his cash on drinks, can't hire a clown for Owen's birthday celebration, so he decides to dress up as one himself. Arriving at the party inebriated, he ends up ruining the festivities. Martin expresses concerns to Charlie about Bailey's potential drinking issues, but Charlie dismisses the notion, despite the consensus among others. In another turn of events, Julia ends her relationship with Sam due to his racist beliefs.
