The Star Contest arrives at the mall, and when Wyatt performs his original song celebrating his friends, he clinches victory in the regional finals. This leads to his opportunity to open for Utility Pole, but unfortunately, the gang misses the concert due to various distractions (like boys, sales, and capitalizing on Wyatt's newfound fame). Feeling abandoned, Wyatt quickly rewrites his song to express his disappointment, proclaiming that his friends are terrible. The revamped track catches on, playing throughout the mall, turning his friends into outcasts. Jonsey steps in as Wyatt's manager but ends up getting fired, while Jude attempts to innovate a "barter system" by trading Stick IT Kabobs and Gyros for goods.
