Makishima and Senguji orchestrate a trap, using Tsunemori's friend Yuki as bait to draw Kogami into an abandoned subway station. Once inside, Kogami finds Yuki but loses communication with Tsunemori, leading them to evade Senguji and his robotic dogs while Makishima watches from above. Ginoza reprimands Tsunemori for allowing Kogami to venture in alone, but Masaoka defends her against his harsh words. Meanwhile, Makishima manipulates the situation, giving Kogami the opportunity to create a functional transponder, enabling him to contact the team outside, who then rush in to rescue him.
