Meanwhile, Kogami pays a visit to Saiga to strategize about Makishima's next move, and they conclude that Makishima may try to disrupt Japan's food supply to provoke border openings. Shion attempts to console Akane, while Kasei consults Sibyl to identify their new "pawn." Later, a drone equipped with a Dominator arrives at Akane's office, promising to reveal the truth about everything.
