Kabuto reflects on how Naruto's current condition stems from his frantic efforts to rescue Sasuke. As Sakura approaches him in tears, she gets hurt when Naruto suddenly shifts his focus. To prevent further damage, Yamato employs mokuton jutsu to restrain Naruto. Kabuto then heals Sakura, arguing that the Konoha ninjas aren't Orochimaru's enemies since they're both battling Akatsuki. Meanwhile, Sai delivers a message from Danzo to Orochimaru, who reacts by stabbing Sai with his Kusanagi sword.
