While chasing a fugitive, Darien gets shot and ends up in the hands of Ev Rankin, an army veteran. Rankin desperately needs Darien’s assistance to locate his son, who has gone missing in Cambodia. Although Darien is skeptical about the boy’s survival, SELMA alerts them that a ransom will be demanded in 48 hours, after which Rankin's son is likely to be killed. Darien and Rankin track down a dangerous double agent who might have leads on the son’s whereabouts, but before they can interrogate him, the agent is murdered. Now, they must figure out how to locate the rebel hideout in time to save Rankin's son.
