A female cat burglar is caught mid-heist but quickly pulls a weapon, freezing the guard in his tracks. SELMA stumbles upon this story in a cheesy magazine, prompting Lambert to suspect that the thief might be a time-traveling fugitive. After interviewing the guard, he deduces that the culprit is a wealthy woman. At her lavish party, he finds himself drawn to her, but after he leaves, it's revealed that she has a twin sister. The twins share a unique psychic bond, allowing them to experience each other's emotions. Later that night, Lambert attempts to break into her home but is apprehended before he can steal anything. He manages to persuade her that he was once a cop but is now being blackmailed by Sahmbi.
