When Jimmy reveals to Kim that the studio has a hidden two-week paternity leave policy, which Greg had never mentioned, she pressures him to take advantage of it. Even though Mr. Savitsky dismisses the idea of paternity leave as ludicrous, Greg secures his time off. However, on his first day, he quickly realizes Kim has no plans for him. As he begins to crave work, Jimmy learns he must use his sick days before the year ends, so he pretends to be ill to spend time at home. Greg's anxiety grows when Kim takes him to the movies, and he unexpectedly bumps into Savitsky. His worries intensify when he sneaks into a meeting and discovers a replacement sitting in his place, functioning smoothly without him.
