Christine informs Jimmy that she doesn’t want a Valentine’s Day present this year, realizing the holiday is merely a scheme to exploit people's wallets. Initially relieved, Jimmy is caught off guard when she surprises him with a card the day before. Thinking a card counts as a gift, he persuades her to wait until tomorrow for their exchange. Desperate to impress her, he drags Greg to the mall, but finds the best cards sold out. In a panic, he convinces Greg to help dismantle a massive display, causing $384 in damages. However, when Christine opens the card and sees only “Love, Jimmy,” she’s furious, while Jimmy wallows in regret, reminiscing about her past cards until Greg advises him to reflect on the meaning behind them.
