In the elevator, Will and Grace encounter a stranger named Ned, prompting Grace to tease Will about being overly friendly with unfamiliar faces. As Grace strikes up a friendship with Ned and invites him over for dinner, Will can't help but voice his disdain for him. However, they soon realize that Ned isn't the most enjoyable guest. Meanwhile, Jack struggles to fit in at his new job, feeling alienated after his coworkers poke fun at his Cher doll. Thankfully, Karen and Rosario are there to offer their encouragement and support.
