MacLeod senses the familiar Buzz emanating from an ancient sarcophagus and decides to open it, discovering Nefertiri, Cleopatra’s handmaid, who has been entombed for 2,000 years alongside her mistress. Now awakened, she seeks revenge against Marcus Constantine, who was both her lover and adversary. Although MacLeod believes Constantine, now a curator dedicated to preserving history, no longer wishes to engage in conflict with Nefertiri, she remains consumed by her desire for vengeance. This confrontation forces MacLeod to grapple with the painful reality of battling a woman he deeply cares for in an Immortal duel.
